Recent changes to this card's data
2026-09-15 — TD Double Up
- Verified accurate — no changes. Fee, the flat 2% rewards rate, and the Cell Phone Protection, Purchase Security, Lost Luggage, and Travel Accident coverages re-confirmed against td.com and its own Guide to Benefits.
2026-08-23 — Fidelity Rewards Visa Signature Card (new card)
- $0 annual fee, 2 Points/$1 on all eligible net purchases, no reward caps/limits/expirations, $0 foreign transaction fee (removed 9/1/2023) (fidelity.com/spend-save/visa-signature-card).
- Verified carefully per the task's request: the 2% cash-back value applies **only** to Points redeemed as a deposit into an eligible Fidelity account (1 cent/point). fidelity.com, fidelityrewards.com, and the fully-expanded FAQ page all independently confirm redemption value is lower for travel, merchandise, gift cards, and statement credit — but none of Fidelity's own pages state the exact alternate rate. Modeled with two point values: the confirmed 1 cent/point Fidelity-account rate (default) and an approximate 0.5 cent/point "other redemptions" preset, explicitly flagged in its description as an unconfirmed estimate (based on convergent but unattributed secondary reporting), not a quoted Fidelity fact.
- **Important finding:** the issuer's Guide to Benefits (effective 7/1/26) states "Effective January 1, 2027, this benefit will no longer be available" directly above both Purchase Security and Lost Luggage Reimbursement — both carry a 2026-12-31 end date, and a re-check is scheduled for 2027-01-01 to catch the actual drop.
- Benefits, from the issuer's own Guide to Benefits PDF: Purchase Security ($500/claim, $50,000/cardholder, 90 days — sunsetting), Lost Luggage Reimbursement ($3,000/trip, $2,000/bag NY — sunsetting), Travel Accident Insurance ($250,000 principal sum AD&D), Emergency Medical/Dental Coverage ($2,500/trip, $50 deductible, plus $75/day x5 days hotel recovery), Auto Rental CDW ($75,000, 31 days, secondary), and a Global Entry/TSA PreCheck credit (up to 10,000 points every 4 years, counted as 2,500 points/yr, one shared answer across cards).
- Omitted as not independently monetizable / issuer-generic (same convention as wells-fargo-active-cash.json and td-double-up.json): Roadside Dispatch (referral-only), Travel and Emergency Assistance Services (referral-only), Emergency Card Replacement/Cash Disbursement, Visa Signature Concierge and Signature local offers, Zero Fraud Liability, digital-wallet/contactless support, and No Preset Spending Limit.
2026-08-23 — TD Double Up (new card)
- $0 annual fee, flat 2 points/$1 on all eligible purchases (redeemable at 1 cent/point = 2% cash back), no rewards categories or caps (td.com/us/en/personal-banking/credit-cards/special-offers/td-doubleup; Important Credit Card Terms and Conditions + Rewards Agreement PDF). Despite the "Double Up" (1% purchase + 1% payoff) marketing framing, the Rewards Agreement awards both points at time of purchase, not split by a later payoff event the way Citi Double Cash is.
- 3% foreign transaction fee confirmed, so no no-FTF benefit listed (same Terms and Conditions PDF).
- Benefits, from TD's "TD Credit Card Guide to Benefits" PDF (which names the card as eligible for full Visa Signature benefits): Cellular Telephone Protection ($500/claim, 2 claims/12mo, $50 deductible), Purchase Security ($500/claim, $50,000/cardholder, 90 days), Lost Luggage Reimbursement ($3,000/covered trip, $2,000/bag NY), Travel Accident Insurance ($250,000 principal sum AD&D).
- Extended Warranty included from TD's general benefits page and a Points Guy cross-check, with a note on the benefit itself — TD's own Guide to Benefits, thorough on the other four coverages, has no extended-warranty section, so its exact caps are unconfirmed.
- Omitted as not independently monetizable: Roadside Dispatch (pay-per-use), ID Navigator/Norton LifeLock, Travel and Emergency Assistance Services (referral-only), and the Avis/Budget rental discount (no CDW/rental insurance is offered on this card at all).
- Welcome bonus and intro-APR promos out of scope per the researcher skill.
