Rental car coverage description corrected: it's secondary in the US (primary only if you carry no other auto insurance) and primary abroad — not the "secondary personal / primary business" split we previously showed. Per Chase's Guide to Benefits PDF.
Coverage ceilings now displayed across the board from the same guide: lost luggage $3,000/traveler, baggage delay $100/day up to 3 days, rental coverage $60,000, purchase protection $500/item, extended warranty $10,000/item, travel accident $500,000.

The card was revamped for Southwest's assigned-seating era: fee is $229 (was $149), the $75 Southwest travel credit expired end of 2025, and the 4 Upgraded Boardings became Group 5 boarding + unlimited Extra Legroom upgrades within 48h + Preferred seat at booking (issuer-confirmed).
First Southwest Rapid Rewards card in the catalog. Point values: 1.3¢ typical flight redemptions (default; no real cash floor — non-flight redemptions run well below 1¢), 2.6¢ "If you already hold the Companion Pass" (doubles per-point value, explicitly conditioned on already having earned the pass).
