The Turo promo's end date is close, so a re-check is scheduled for October 19 to catch whether it's extended or removed.

Earning: 2x eligible American Airlines purchases (AA-only, so shown but not auto-counted), 2x restaurants (incl. takeout/delivery, auto-applied to dining), 2x gas stations (shown, not auto-counted), 1x everything else. No foreign transaction fees.

Two independently- collected WalletHub Q&A pages list which Citi cards carry rental-car and travel insurance (Strata Premier, Costco Anywhere Visa, AAdvantage Executive) and both omit Platinum Select; a third WalletHub answer states outright the card has no travel insurance. Citi's own Benefits Overview PDF (which enumerates "existing benefits" exhaustively) lists none either. Conclusion: that site mistakenly copied the Executive card's coverage onto its Platinum Select page — no coverage benefits added here, and none will be until Citi itself documents any.
