2026-08-21 — JetBlue Plus Card (new card)
- Added
barclays-jetblue-plus.json: Barclays' $99-fee JetBlue co-brand (JetBlue Plus World Elite Mastercard). Researched from the live Barclays card page, the JetBlue-Barclays card comparison page, and the card's own Guide to Benefits PDF (whose welcome page names "Your JetBlue Plus World Elite Mastercard" directly, confirming the figures belong to this exact card). - Earning: 6x JetBlue purchases (flights, JetBlue Vacations, Paisly — JetBlue-only, so not auto-counted against general flight spend), 2x dining, 2x eligible grocery stores, 1x everything else. No foreign transaction fee.
- Credits: 5,000-point anniversary bonus; $100 JetBlue Vacations statement credit (once/yr, after a $100+ package purchase).
- Perks: free first checked bag (cardholder + 3 companions, JetBlue- operated flights only, $45-49 replacement-cost anchor from jetblue.com/legal/fees); 50% back on inflight purchases; Mosaic-status progress locked behind the real $50,000/yr threshold (the level for automatic Mosaic status), left unvalued per the "never pre-value status" convention (see
united-explorer.json's PQP perk). - Coverages, all sourced from the fetched Guide to Benefits PDF: trip cancellation/interruption ($5,000/trip, $10,000/12mo), trip delay ($300/trip, 2 claims/12mo), baggage delay ($100/day x3), travel accident insurance ($250,000 AD&D), secondary rental CDW (actual cash value, up to $50,000 MSRP), extended warranty ($10,000/claim), purchase assurance ($1,000/claim, $50,000/12mo), price protection ($250/claim, 4 claims/12mo), and return protection/"Satisfaction Guarantee" ($500/ claim, 2 claims/12mo). Lost-luggage reimbursement is confirmed absent from this card's Guide to Benefits table of contents and correctly omitted (unlike several sibling cards that do carry it).
- Point values: 0.75¢ "Points Payback" statement-credit floor (3,333 pts = $25 credit, $1,000/yr cap — mechanics per The Points Guy and Upgraded Points; JetBlue's own pages name the feature without dollar figures), and 1.3¢ "typical award flights" (default, Frequent Miler's Reasonable Redemption Value), which folds in the 10%-points-back-on-award-redemption perk rather than listing it as a separate benefit.
- Not modeled (out of scope): the sign-up bonus, and the separate $499-fee "JetBlue Premier" card Barclays/JetBlue launched in 2025 and updated in 2026 — a different product, not researched here.
