Recent changes to this card's data
2026-08-27 — AAA Daily Advantage Visa Signature (new card)
- Rates: 5% grocery stores; 3% gas & EV charging, wholesale clubs (shown, not auto-counted), streaming, pharmacy, and AAA purchases (shown, not auto-counted); 1% everything else. Sources: mwg.aaa.com/credit-card and the issuer's Rewards Terms and Conditions (d.comenity.net/advantage/common/Legal/RewardsTermsAndConditionsDisclosure1.xhtml).
- Cap, verbatim from the issuer's terms: "Maximum of $500 USD cash back earned in a calendar year at grocery stores, wholesale clubs and gas stations combined." That's a combined cash-back cap across categories with different rates; we model it as a shared $10,000/yr spend pool, which is exact for grocery-heavy spend and slightly *under*-counts gas/wholesale-heavy spend (the real cap allows up to ~$16,667 at 3%) — never overstates. Streaming/pharmacy 3% sit outside the cap.
- Grocery category narrowed effective 2026-05-15: discount stores, superstores, and convenience stores no longer qualify (Walmart/Target earn 1%) — per Doctor of Credit's tracking; not yet stated by the issuer's own pages.
- Redemption and benefits: same as the Travel Advantage ($5 minimum, 5-year expiry, no-FTF only; network-generic extras omitted).
- Same unconfirmed one-card rule as the Travel Advantage entry above — the app doesn't restrict holding both, pending a primary confirmation.
